My Outlook express is opening very slowly. It is somewhat frustrating. I only
have about 15 total e-mails in the program, all others are deleted.

When I look into the store folder it is showing around 60MB of e-mails
including 30MB in my deleted items folder, which is empty.

I think something is scanning this large store folder which should be empty.
It does not improve when antivirus is off.

Any thoughts.

Thanks, Alan

I'm guessing that you're using OE on a PC (apologies if not).  If that's the
case, please use the equivalent Windows group this one is for Mac users...
