I use Outlook Express 5.0.6 for Mac. I opened the program and it was
empty! No addresses, no mail and I was told that I need to setup my
connection. In other words it was just like I just downloaded a new OE.
Then I saw a message flash that said something about copying some files
from somewhere on my hard drive. I tried to go there and then the
message disappeared and I haven't been able to get it back. Any idea
where these files are? Are they my addresses, old mail, etc.?

Search for an Identities folder throughout your HD - how many items do you
find, and where are they? Are you using OE in the Classic environment of OS
X?
