Hi!  I am using OE 5.0.6 with Mac OS 9.1.  From the pull down menu, many of
the features are shaded such that we cannot select and use them.  This
really limits what we can do with it.  I have thought about downloading it
again from MacTopia but not sure if that is the right solution.  There seem
to be no updates so what are my options?  Please, advise.  Thank you!

OE 5.0.6 was the last version created, so there is no update that you could
download.

The answer depends on what specifically is shaded out.  As with most
applications, certain options become available depending on what items are
selected in the currently active window.  For example, a lot of options in
the View menu will be shaded while you're composing an e-mail.

Do you have a mail account configured within the Tools > Accounts screen?
If so, are you able to send and receive mail?  Which options are shaded?
