Mac Forum / Applications / Outlook Express / January 2006OE Mac Error Type 2
I have a client with an older mac running OS 9.2 He is getting the typical Mac memory error "type 2" when trying to run Outlook Express. I had him delete the Internet Preferences file, no difference at all. OE has worked fine for him for many many months, this is sudden. Could there be a corrupt message store causing this problem? He says he has fixed it once before, but cant remember how... any suggestions from someone with Mac-spertise would be greatly appreciated! -- Michael E Fixed it... logged into mail account via host's webmail, and deleted the next unread message in the list. Everything is fine. The client has his OE set to 'auto send/receive on startup' , and apparently the next message in line was crashing OE when it tried to retrieve it from the server.
