Hi All
When I close OE after deleting messages I get the message that the folder
control could not be compacted as end of file reached.  Solutions anybody?

I would start off by going to Tools > Empty Cache > Empty Entire Cache.  Try
to quit the application again and hopefully the issue should be resolved.

Hi there. I jave been having the same problems today and wondreed if
you could tell me if there is  way to empty the cache without going to
tools etc. The reason i ask is because, as soon as I get the error
message, OE shuts down so./

Any ideas would be great

If you can actually launch OE though, surely you could then use the Tools
menu to clear the cache?

Anyway, the other way to clear out the cache is to find your OE User(s)
folder (this usually resides in the same location as the OE application),
then go into your user profile folder and then delete the 'Cache' folder
within.
