I can not view subject- date sent-etc, in my in box.   shows no
messages but the in folder it shows tons.  I think an account known as
on my mac is missing and I have no idea how to get it back.  Help!!!!!!

I'm not sure I quite understand your question, but you might have
accidentally enabled the View > Show Unread Only option?

You have to have something selected when trying to use this option.  Click
the Inbox to highlight it and then try again.

You could try to compact the database...

If that doesn't work, please be very specific in stating the exact nature of
the problem.  What you've written above is still a little difficult to
interpret.
