I've got a 600-meg file full of 3.5 years of e-mails written and
received in MS Outlook (not Outlook Express) for OS9.x, and I've been
utterly unable either to import this mail (it's not a .MBOX) into
Entourage 2004 or to convert it into an importable format with various
applications.

Any ideas?

Not sure really, Matt.  Perhaps you could import them into a new version of
PC Outlook, and from there export them to a format that is compatible with
Entourage.

If you can set up an IMAP mail account on Outlook (you might have this
configured already), then you could transfer your messages to the equivalent
IMAP account within Entourage.  I must admit that I haven't done this
myself, so I don't know if this is as straightforward as one might think.
