I am wondering whether this is a bug with Outlook Express 6.

I noticed yesterday when adding contacts to my address book (wab) that when
there are more than 1000 contacts in the address book, that they are no
longer visible in the Contacts preview pane of Outlook Express. If I delete
some to make the number 1000 or less, they are then visible again.

I wonder if anyone knows of this bug or has a solution for it.

I think you've posted this query to the wrong newsgroup. Try the PC
equivalent group instead.
