Recovering lost folders

Hi

I accidentally dragged and dropped a 'Projects' personal folder into my
inbox and quit hoping that Outlook express (5.06 on OS 9.1) would reset on
relaunch.

But instead it removed all my personal folders within my inbox including the
one I moved in there.

I have already followed the advice to compact and complex rebuild the
database (and increased memory to do this) but no change. Annoyingly I have
seen references to slightly different versions of Outlook (usually PCs of
course) that suggest my hidden folders can be recovered quite simply. But no
luck yet. Anyone?

Are you sure it hasn't just reorganised the layout of the folders within the
Inbox (remember the disclosure triangles that show you the folder
hierarchy).  It just seems strange that a folder could be swallowed up in
such a manner.

I can't think of any other way to retrieve the content other than what
you've already tried.
