iMac to iMac firewire transfer: lost OE address book, keepers\

We did a Firewire transfer from the old imac to a newer one. OE should
have made the transfer with addresses, keepers intact, but failed to do
so.  I moved the OE preferences in hopes that this would contain the
missing info, but no luck. We're ready to abandon OE altogether in
favor of something a little more user-friendly, but need to recover the
"keepers".  I can't seem to just extract any emails or pictures from
the "keepers" file and transfer them by flash drive or email.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Have you transferred the entire Microsoft User Data folder across to the
target Mac?  All of your data will be stored within this folder.

No- I'll give that a try.
Thanks!

Progress is being made. It turns out that I should have used the setup
assistant on the newer Mac to guide me through the process.

Thanks again--

Hi Larry!

I mistakenly deleted a critical address book group from my address book.
Yikes! Do you - or anyone else out there - have any idea how I can recover it?
