Hi all,

I would like to transfer my emails from OE5 to Outlook2001 as I want to use
nowaday an exchange mailbox.
In the file menu of OE5 in the "export" section, it seems that we can only
export contacts. I'm looking for a solution to this problem since a long
time, checking the possibilities in both OE5 and Outlook2001 but didn't find
a good solution..
the drag & drop works but the real date are lost and emails looks like being
new ones, arrhhh.

Does one of you have ideas or scripts to do it?
Or a better Exchange client on MAC OS9 from which I can  get my OE5 mails??

thanks in advance,
Frédéric MARTIN

The best way would be to connect OE5 to your Exchange server via IMAP (if
enabled) and move your messages over that way.

Outlook 2001's import options are extremely limited.

Hi Adam,

I did this and was able to open my exchange mailbox so thanks for the tip!
I can then move my emails from OE5 to this IMAP "Exchange" mailbox, but my
problem is that I lose the original date of reception.. all the mails are
dated to 22 March
Is there a way to keep the original mail with the real date??

Thanks,
Frédéric
