I'm using Outlook Express 5.0.6 on a G3 Power Macintosh All in One running
Mac OS 9.2.2.

Sometime within the past couple of weeks I started to receive Error 16999
alerts:

Error: Could not retrieve mail from the account (such-and-such).

Explanation: The POP server returned an unexpected reply to a command that
Outlook Express issued.

I have checked with my service provider. They thought it had to do with
messages left on my webmail account. I cleared webmail of all messages, but
still receive this error alert.

Is there anything I can do to correct this?
