I forwarded a message to my wife, on the same home network I'm on, and she
couldn't find it until she looked in her "Delete" box. I sent another, same
thing happened.
Any suggestions?

Have a look at your Tools > Rules section and see if you have anything in
there that might set the message to be marked as spam.  If not, create a
rule that makes sure to set all messages from you not to be spam.
