Help!
My Outlook Express quit on me -- I am no longer able to receive or send
e-mail on my Mac G-5.  I purchaes the G-5 in August of 2003 and the outlook
express has worked fine up until now.  The arrows (in the bottom right hand
corner) keep rotating like it is searching, but doesn't stop (hasn't found
any?
I have been able to go to my cable web site and collect (and send) my
e-mail from there, but I do not find this as easy or as convenient as
Outlook Express.
Microsoft tells me they no longer have support services over the phone,
so I don't know what to do.
I am rather computer illiterate, so whoever helps me with whatever you
have to offer, needs to give me very simple and basic instructions without a
lot of computereze.
   Thanks.
I will wait to see what happens.

Does Outlook Express report any kind of error message when you try to send &
receive mail?

The most obvious place to start is the Tools menu; go there and click
Accounts, and this will show the mail accounts that you have configured on
your machine (if you double-click on these, you will see the account
information that has been working fine up until now).  Make a note of these
settings and then use the New button in the Accounts window to recreate the
account.  Delete the old account configuration(s) and then try again.  If in
doubt, you should be able to confirm the correct settings with Comcast - I
realise that Microsoft don't support Outlook Express per se, but your ISP
should still be able to assist you.
