I'm so frustrated I could scream!!
I'm hoping someone can help me. I recently converted my Mac from OSX
to Panther, and Outlook Express didn't carry any of the e-mail
messages or folders over into Panther. Are they lost, or can I
retrieve them? If so, how? Neither Mac nor Microsoft tech support
could help me. Please help!

Hi,
Outlook Express in OS 9.2 stores all its mails in the following location.
<Harddisk> / Documents / Microsoft User Data / Identities.
When you try opening Outlook Express through OS X it searches for the mails
in a different location; i.e <Harddisk> / Users / Home folder (folder with
Home icon) / Documents / Microsoft User Data / Identities. and that's the
reason you are not able to see your mails when you are trying to open
Outlook Express through OS X.
Try moving Identities folder from <Harddisk> / Documents / Microsoft User
Data to <Harddisk> / Users / Home folder (folder with Home icon) / Documents
/ Microsoft User Data . After you do this quit outlook Express and relaunch
Outlook Express and you should be able to see all your mails.
Note: Before doing this make sure that you have removed the identities
folder from <Harddisk> / Users / Home folder (folder with Home icon) /
Documents / Microsoft User Data
Hope this helps you in resolving your issue.
