Why is it that some computers can read my email attachments and some don't ?
Is there a setting that I can change? I am always sending the same
attachment (my resume).

Try clicking on the attachments triangle, select Encode for Windows
(MIME/base64), click none for compression and select append Windows
extensions to file names. This has worked for me in getting attachments to
both Macs and WINTEL machines without problems.
