I have been using Outlook Express for years with a Mac in OS9.2. Yesterday
I changed to OS10.3. I need to get my address book from Outlook Express.
How do I export the address book to LDIF format to import the address
book. (I know little about computers and I called Apple who gave me that
LDIF language.) All I want to do at the minimum is to print out the address
book so I can retype the addresses into Safai. It would be nice if there is an
automatic way to do it but I'll retype if necessary. HELP! Lisa
Hi Lisa,
In Entourage click on File Menu and click on import. Under import Screen
select "Import information from a Program" and click on next
(right arrow which is located at the right bottom of the screen) and in the
next screen select outlook express 5, it will take you to the next screen
there you can select contacts (If you want to import mails you can select
that as well ) and click on next. Next screen pops up asking you to locate
Select Outlook Express Identities folder. Select the Identities folder which
is located under <Hard Disk > / Documents (folder) / Microsoft User Data /
Identities and click on open & it should import the contacts automatically.
