I received this message today:
Your mailbox is now 9632045 bytes which exceeds 90 % of your
allowed size of 10485760 bytes.  To avoid exceeding your mailbox's
maximum size please delete some of your messages.

Does that mean my saved messages in folders off the main screen or just  my
in/out/deleted/saved messages?

This could be a limitation imposed on either the client side (your machine)
or the server side (your mailbox on the mail server).

I should imagine that it will be the latter, in which case your messages are
being stored on the server even after you download them, and these need to
be cleared down before you reach saturation point (at which point no further
mail will reach you!)

You can achieve the required server side maintenance by enabling "online
access" in OE as follows...

Failing that, your ISP can do this for you.
