does anyone know a cheap/free software for mac that can make webpages like
frontpage can.  I know dreamweaver but I'm thinking of something else.

Hi,

You can try Nvu
http://www.nvu.com/

I tried to get it to work with my own relatively simple site, but was
not successful. My guess is that it will work well with sites created
from scratch using nvu.

Nvu on my pc is ok. Be it that the html-code is too complex. Does not do
things on 'looks' in a css-script/file but all the way down the page. Not
alle the browsers do like that. I couldn't get it working on my Mac
(iMac/blue white, G3, 10.1) though.
