I updated the operating system from 8.1 to 9.1 on two Mac systems. The
first worked great with no problems. The second one ran out of room on the
hard drive with about 3 minutes left in the install. I said I wanted to skip
the installation. But when I booted the PC it came up with 9.1 OS. I did the
install where it created the new directory with the old OS and a new
directory with the new OS. How can I get the system to boot back to the old
OS?
Thanks,
Rick
Rick,
There should be a Control Panel called "Startup Disk" where you can select
which System Folder you'd like to start the machine up with.
Once you boot into the older OS, you can then delete the newer System
Folder, or whatever you decide to do with it.
Hope this helps!
