Has anyone run across this problem?...I have been looking for a DVD player
either accessory or built-in for my Mac G4 i have been to a few stores and
Checked the Internet, including www apple.com.But for some strange reason I
cannot find a compatable DVD player that works so I can install OS10.4
tiger... I have bought and tried two remote players and had to return both.
Since then I have been told that I should use another computer w/ a DVD and
use a firewire, which i cannot arrange.. ...is there possibly another way to
install OS10.4 tiger? Glen

Go to www.fastermacs.com and click on FASTER OPTICAL DRIVES. You will
see an internal Super Drive DVD recorder that will work with G4s and
G5s. You can also bundle it with some backup software, etc.

Don't ask for a DVD player... get a DVDR/DVDRW.

Oh, and make sure the jumpers are setup correctly. That's a bummer when you
find out you gave up a good thing because of jumpers, or when you missed one
of the rows of pins, and just hooked it up half/way.
Well, no one would do that except me tho, right?
