I have a MacBook Pro with all the updated software (OSX 10.4.10)

I have had to reinstall my printers both worked fine 3 hours ago, but now
when I add a printer¹ I get the 50 error: Error in user parameter list
(-50)" (minus 50)

I looked up on the apple support web area:

This makes no sense to me as I have never used anything pertaining to:
MS DOS-Formatted Volume
So I have no idea what this means

Both printers are doing this to me. I have an Apple Laser WriterPro 600 and
HP Color LaserWriter 3600.

Can anyone help me or suggest something or someplace that can?

I'm afraid this has *nothing* to do with *anything* Microsoft and is
apparently not something commonly encountered... Otherwise someone would
have at least taken a stab at it:-) You'd be far better off to post your
query to the Apple Discussions Forum - specifically having to do with OS X
10.4 Tiger: Printing & Faxing;
