Hi,
Get as much RAM as you can. At least 3 GIG if you plan to use parallels, 2
GIG if you plan to use boot camp and run only one operating system at a
time.
Graphic card support has been promised, but AFAIK it is not here yet, so
games will not play well at the moment and the fancy Glass look in Vista
won't be available at this time in a virtual machine environment. These
things should be coming pretty soon I would think.

It took me about 50 minutes to get Parallels and Vista running on my iMac.
The subjective performance is better than I would expect from native
performance. I am pretty impressed with Parallels.
