I am Looking for an upgrade from OS7.5 to 7.6 - 8.1 for My MAC Quadra 700. Mac OS 8.1 had to be purchased as a new OS. You may want to check eBay or other auction sites to see if anyone is trying to unload an older copy. Also, run a search engine query (Google or other such service) to see which used Macintosh online stores have it. You'd have to find a copy on eBay or at some vendor of old software. There's no way to install 7.6 or 8.0 just by downloading it.
