Error 43 when copying from OSX 10.4.7 to Windows XP shares

Hi,

I am running 2 PowerMACs on OSX 10.4.7 and they need to copy files to a
share on a Windows XP machine. They have no problem accessing the machine
but they do get an error 43 when copying to it for a period of time then it
stops then it starts again, argh! Help please.

Mac OS X's built SMB client isn't the best. I would suggest that if you
regularly need to transfer files you should look at a better SMB client
such as Dave from Thursby <http://www.thursby.com>. You can download a
trial version from their website to see if it meets your needs.
