Hello Everyone:
I have a co-worker that is now working on a Macintosh he set a password
and now doesn¹t remember the password, so now he doesn¹t have administrator
privileges. Now the problem is I cant change the password because I don¹t
know the original. Any suggestions and or solutions are truly appreciated.

Thanks
Phil

If you¹re using Mac OSX you can reset the administrator password using the
Mac OSX CD that came with the computer.

Insert the Mac OSX CD and double-click ŒInstall Mac OSX¹.

When the installer appears, choose ŒReset Password¹ from the Installer menu.

Follow the on-screen instructions to change the password.

Quit the installer and restart the computer while holding down the mouse
button to eject the CD.

having serious problems so I sent it in for repairs, well the technician
erased everything that was on my computer so that it will run " smoother" .
So now I am trying to reinstall my microsoft office 2003 disk and its asking
me for my ID Code where can I get that? I have my reciept and the disk but no

As standard the number's on the envelope, however if you do not have have it
I think you should ask the seller. The seller is supposed to give you the
accessories you can repair it either it's system recovery or the full
version. That's my opinion, should ask the seller where you buy office or
laptop from.
Keeps my finger cross for you to be succesfull.

As far as the licencing was discussed in my country section, important for
you is the receipt. Also it was said that maybe the seller is not duty to
give you CD but MUST give you accessory to enable you to restore to factory
setting.
You  might also find the number on label on your laptop if you have MS
Office certification label on it. On PC it's in holographic appearance.
For more refer to microsoft.public.cs.license group.
