Mac Forum / Applications / Firefox / Mozilla / November 2003I'm probably the millionth person to point this out but...
Hi all, I'm running MacOS 10.3.1 and I just downloaded and installed Netscape 7.1, (don't know if this is the right newsgroup for that matter), to use as a newsreader and it works fine, except for one little bug, (with two instances). When entering a search string in the 'Subject or Sender contains:' text field, keypresses 'w' and 'k' are interpreted as the 'watch' and 'ignore' thread commands, and consequently cannot be entered as part of the search string! But first check out comp.sys.mac.system--seems I read over there recently of some serious problem with Moz 1.5 on Panther. Can't remember the details, but I remember it made me decide not to upgrade Mozilla. Try Mozilla 1.5--it may be fixed for you. Why not just suggest Mozilla 1.4.1 then? As it is kinda of an upgrade to Netscape 7.1 |
