Example, I use ebay a lot to sell , I cant use there pages, Mozilla wont
work.... it might say your browser does not support updating when i fill
the autofill forms, or when im trying to upload a picture, it stops and
doesnt finish, I have to use Internet explorer to sell my items on ebay,
what is wrong here !  HELP

I know this isn't going to sound that useful... I don't use eBay often
(I can count the times on my right hand) but I never had this problem...
so I can't speak to it... I might think part of the problem has to do
with Apples Jave 1.4.1 Runtime...

I'm running Mozilla 1.5r2 on OS X 10.2.8 to access Ebay and a bunch of
other sites.

Things seem to work fine for me on Ebay, although I don't use the
autofill forms feature much.   Most other sites work fine too.

Also, I don't think the "autofill forms" feature is Java related.
That's a function of the Mozilla web browser (if I'm understanding you
correctly).   Can you give a specific example of an operation in Ebay
that fails?

I do see problems where many web sites use Javascript where the
Javascript code is assuming a MS-IE specific Document Object Model
(DOM).   But again, that has nothing to do with Java.

My experience with MS-IE on Mac is that it sucks.  It's very slow and
occasionally gives spurious "web site not responding" errors.  To
display the yahoo.com home page takes about 3 times as long in MS-IE 5.2
on OS X.
