Hi everybody,
I just noticed that the Camino localization mailbox doesn't exist any more.
(mail bounced). So I post the message here:
After being annoyed that I could not install Camino for people who can't speak
English well, I just went ahead and created a German version today.
I only translated the Browser, though, leaving Talkback and PreferencePanes in
English.
It might not be perfect, but it is as good as it (probably) gets for 0.7.
(I still hope for 0.8 sometime soon - I might overhaul it if 0.8 keeps me
waiting too long.)
It is ready for download at:
http://www.afthd.tu-darmstadt.de/~dc5pn/Camino/Camino-0.7-deDE.dmg.gz
Please note that there is *no* HTML present in this directory and therefore only
suitable for direct download.
Please also note that I declare the translation "BETA", so be mild with me.
btw: why is the Camino l10n-Project "inactive" at mozdev and is there no other
way of getting a localized Camino but mozdev? Its *very* hard to find there.
I would prefer a "contrib-localized" directory on the ftp-server.
Have fun . . . Martin

I decided that I will not be able to sleep before the preferences and Talkback
are translated, too. So I replaced the above file with a new one.
The translation is now pretty much complete, so I call it "RC".
Have fun testing and using it . . . Martin
