Hi, is there a way to make firefox the default browser on OS X? I just installed Thunderbird, and clicking a link in an email opens Netscape.. :( - reason for installing thunderbird was to get rid of netscape... The Internet Control Panel doesnt exist in later systems because its not required, you set the default browser in Safari, and set the default email (news) program in Apple Mail. Setting the defaults to their own products is a way of encouraging use of those products, or at least getting people to try them out. But Apple provides a simple method of changing (within the program) if it doesnt work out.
