When I switched from being a PC guy to being a Mac guy, I moved my
wife's Netscape 4.x mail from the PC to Mozilla on the Mac. No problem!
It all showed. Everything worked.

When I moved my Thunderbird mail+news from the PC to Thunderbird on the
Mac, all it showed was the email accounts with NO subfolders and no news
accounts at all.

What kind of file surgery do I have to do to see all my subfolders and
news accounts?

TIA

I would try re-importing them, actually.

Tools > Import.
