Does Apple's recent announcement to deprecate
Quickdraw in favor of Quartz have any impact
on the development roadmap for any of the applications
built on Mozilla technology? I am guessing that
ultimately, there are device/OS specific code
fragments scattered throughout the technology that
may be difficult to fit into Quartz' imaging
models and/or geometry management.

Are there any thoughts out there on this topic?

QuickDraw and Quartz allow you to dip into one from the other, so a
transition can be (and is being) made gradually, such as:
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=245407

It won't be disappearing overnight.

If I understand correctly, most (all?) of the platform-specific graphics
code is isolated in the gfx module.
