I've built Firefox for OS X; I can run it from the Finder. Now I am
interested in running Firefox on an X11 display, but I can't figure out
how to run Firefox in X11. "build/unix/run-mozilla.sh" can't be right:
it complains:
---
run-mozilla.sh: Cannot execute .
---
Help much appreciated!
Thanks,
Jack

AFAIK it has to be configured for X11 at build time. The default for OS X is
"default-toolkit=mac". for X11 you probably need "default-toolkit=gtk(2)" and
you'd better compile it in the xterm. I didn't try building for X11 myself yet,
so there might be other issues as well.

In case you are still interested, I built a Firefox nighty (MOZILLA_1_7_BRANCH)
for X11 and it works fine. just execute "./firefox &"
here you go:
