Hi, I have just installed messenger mac 6.0.2 on my macbook pro running off mac os x. I kept having sign on problems, and I am really getting a little hopeless here trying to figure out what happened. Read in the web that messenger mac 6 has a known sign on issues with mac os x, and it is also mentioned that this is fixed in messenger mac 6.0.0. However, it seems that this is not resolved for my case? What went wrong? Anybody out there who have encountered the same problem as me? Please help, it is getting a little annoying now. Rebecca , I have the exact same problem with the latest messenger problem (6.0.2) and a brand new mac book pro. when ever i try to login, messenger tells me that i have a problem with user name or password. this is not true since I am able to login to my MSN account and PC Messenger with the same user and password. Any ideas ? I did re-install the client, same results. thx, Sarig. I've deleted all my preferences from Documents\Microsoft User data and MyUserName\Library\Preferences \Microsoft as numerous Google searches advised but to no avail. I've also moved to 6.0.2 first upgrading then doing a complete re-install. It's always worked fine but randomly seems to have stopped. |
