I have post up a topic earlier but my problem still remain unsolve. Is
there anyone out there that is able to help me with it?
This is my problem " I am force to download the latest version for
messenger. Previously i
am using Messenger 5.1 everything is fine until it was upgraded to
messenger version 6.01. When i double click on the messenger icon it
show message saying "The application Messenger quit unexpectedly" i
tried to restart my comp but it still doesnt work. Is there a way to
make the messenger work or can i just get messenger 5.1 back..."

Have tried all methods like deleting the cache, re downloading msn
messenger and trying out all the methods that i was told to do but msn
messenger 6.01 is still not able to work on my laptop (Powerbook G4).
Am running on OSx version 10.4.8

Hi Denice - I too have had the same problem. I have deleted all
previous versions I could find, then went to the Messenger for Mac
website (just google it) and downloaded the most recent version. From
what I can tell, the autodownload version is in windows format and
hence not really installable on our Macs...
good luck!
Nicole

Hi Nicole!

You'll need to download the Mac version from
<http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/8/3/083da6e6-0db8-4d62-a8c7-7e2
b0ac70f4a/Messenger601.dmg>.

Hope this helps! bill
