I can't believe that this issue hasn't been resolved ... it took
forever for this issue to be handled properly on the Windows version.
We all know the story ... a friend logs in to messenger from your Mac
and now his email is still there in the drop-down box ... how do you
delete it?
I did a Spotlight search for his address, trying to find a file that
may hold all the login email addresses for messenger, but no luck.
Can someone help me figure out how this can be done? Thanks!

If you have the Developer Tools installed you can open the preference file
by double clicking on it. The filename is: com.microsoft.Messenger.plist and
remove the MRU entry for the user you want to remove. Property List Editor
will open if you have it installed. There are some other plist editors out
there as well.
The name of the entry in the plist file just needs to be cleared out, don¹t
actually remove the entry. The name is: MSNSignInMRU followed by the entry
numbers. You just need to clear out the text to the right of the entry (i.e.
the user¹s address).
Thanks,
