As far as there is no possibility of video or even voice chat from the
newest version of Microsoft Messenger for Mac (version 5.1.1) I
understand I should use a software like iChat from installed on my G5
Macintosh. The question is; when I want to video communicate with a
person using the Windows Operating system PC video or voice chat
messenger, will my iChat on my Mac be still able to "understand" the
language of that PC based Microsoft Messenger ? Can they communicate, I
mean do they speak the same languange?
I would appreciate if anybody could help.

Hi,
You have 3 options :
#1 Use iChat on the Mac with AOL client on the PC
You'll have to set-up a AOL.
Please go to this link : http://www.aptr36.dsl.pipex.com/page12.html
If you only want to see the video from the PC there is the Mercury option on
the Mac.
