Can you setup Microsoft Messenger for Mac 5.0 to work with an SIP
Communications Service on the corporate account side? My company is all
Windows based and everyone uses Windows Messenger for in-house IM
service using SIP. Is there any way to communicate with them?

The answer is no. This was the NUMBER ONE requested feature of users (that
is video and voice support) but Microsoft chose [again] to ignore what users
want and give them something else (a name change from MSN Messenger to
Microsoft Messenger).

You could try waiting for version 6 of Microsoft Messenger (or whatever new
name they invent for that update). However don't hold your breath hoping for
video/voice support since Microsoft consistently ignore users feature
requests (for example, for years users asked for PST file support for
Entourage, when they finally do it, not only can you not export or create
PST files, but you also cannot IMPORT pst files from PCs [only from Outlook
2001 for Mac OS 9]. As 99.99999% of PST files come from PCs you can see that
they completely missed the point).

Yes, Microsoft Messenger 5 can connect to LCS Servers using the corporate
tab.  Please contact your system administrator for the exact settings you
must use to connect to your server.
