Hi all, just read an article that said  "Microsoft plans to all but end
its stint as an Internet service provider to Mac users, discontinuing
its MSN for Mac OS X software, CNET News.com has learned."

Does anyone know if this is effecting MSN Messenger as well, or just
the IP end of things?

Thanks,
Tupno

I can assure you that it is only the MSN for Mac OS X Software that is
affected by this announcement, the software is basically MSN Explorer for
Mac, and the announcement relates to their ISP side of the business as they
move away from supporting Macintosh as an ISP.

You can rest assured that MSN Messenger for Mac will continue to live on for
the foreseeable future and a new version is just around the corner so keep
your eye's peeled on the Mactopia site for more details surrounding MSN
Messenger 5.0 for Mac when it's released.
