At the moment I can't really say for sure, there isn't much that can be done
to update the current MSN for Mac OS X client. It was released with IE6 for
Mac's Rendering Engine etc and since then they stopped development on that
technology leaving it hanging in the air, for now there doesn't appear to be
anything other than minor updates planned for the software, so you'll just
have to keep checking the Mactopia Website for news.

The Tasman engine is also used for displaying "complex" HTML in Entourage
2004, so it's quite possible that development is continuing at some pace or
other, probably just bug fixing. If it's ever improved I expect the updated
version will be ported over to MSN Client. Also, I'd expect MSN Client to
benefit from improved Junk filters, parental controls, etc. Just don't hold
your breath. ;-)
