I am trying to gain access to MSN Messenger through my firewall.  I
have created a policy for ports range 1024 to 65535 and port 80 tcp,
but still don't have any luck.

Other users on my network can use MSN Messengers for Windows but I
still can't use it for Mac.

When I disable the firewall i can get access but that is obviously not
acceptable either.

Can any one give my some advice here, by either confirming ports or
other...

thanks

MSN Messenger for Mac doesn't work well behind a firewall. Try aMSN..

It works fine behind a firewall.  You need to open port 1863 (TCP) both ways. - JH
