What happens when you try? Do you get some kind of error message?

I type a message, hit enter and the message moves to the message log box along with the timestamp. But nothing happens after that. There is no error message. Also, there is no timestamp under the message box like normal.

Another thing, I can send files, no problem.

Hi Adam,
I don't see any error messages. My contacts see me on-line and can send me messages and I receive them. I can send Files without any problems. When I type an instant message and click SEND the message moves to the chat window and just sits there. the recipient never receives it.
