Sounds as if it isnt a fault with the app, rather with your fingers! :) Ask for a reminder from the app.
GIGO strikes again!!!!!!!! LOL

Hi!

Can you log into the Windows Live web site at http://home.live.com/ ? The
"Sign in" link is located on the top right of the page, under the date.
Please let me know if you are able to log in here, as that will let us know
whether or not this is Messenger-related. Also, remember to make sure your
caps lock is off when entering your password :)

I have the same problem with logging in to MSN messenger; it tells me that my password or my sign-in name is wrong. I can log into the Windows Live web site with the same name and password, but I can't log on to my MSN chat. I have a Mac OS X Version 10.4.11.

I've tried to download other versions, such as aMSN and some others, but either I get tha problem with the password (which I KNOW is right), OR it tells me to upgrade the MSN. When I do this, it tells me to upgrade again, and so on...

I've had these problems for a long time, and for a while I was able to use my MSN (though I couldn't delete contacts, send files, use the web-cam etc.) but now it doesn't work any more...

What to do? Does anybody have any tips?

Hi!

Does your password have a lot of symbols or special characters in it? What
is your OS language? Can you use the Windows Live web site to change your
password, and then try logging into Mac Messenger again? A password with
nothing but standard English alphabet characters and numbers (A-Z, a-z, 0-9)
would probably be best.

Let me know if this works for you so we can narrow down the actual cause of
this behavior. Feel free to reply directly to me (see my signature for
information on how to do this).

Thanks!
