Sometime ago I posted about problems installing MSN messenger and error
message saying Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). I have
tried every possible suggestion , but still no luck. Couple days ago I tried
installing version 5.1 and I realised it works. However the features are
limited and I am hoping someone can shed some light as to why I can only
install 5.1 and no other versions. I am using Windows XP Home Edition and I
have a Dell Inspiron 6400. There has to be a reason why I am only able to
install version 5.1

Hi,

this is a newsgroup for Messenger for Mac; we won't be able to help you!
 :-(
You might be better off asking that question in a newsgroup dedicated to
Windows Live Messenger.
