No, you can't; you will need a (Passport/Windows Live/Hotmail/MSN)-ID to
sign in.

Use Ichat for AOL instant messaging. The features on that are waaaaaaaaay better than on this MSN For mac which is to say the least, bad until they update hopefully with WEBCAM support.

No, there's no integration with AIM. You can only chat with MSN/Windows Live and Yahoo! contacts. Use iChat for AIM.
