I don't know if this is a redundant question, I apologize beforehand,
but I have a mac and am interested in the i'm Windows Live Messenger
feature.  I just downloaded the Messenger for Mac, and wondered if the
i'm program worked through this.  Thanks.

Yes, Microsoft Messenger for Mac gives you access to the Windows Live
Messenger Service.
