Not too hot technically so need some help please.  Problem as follows:
For no logical reason (to me) I am suddenly unable to connect to my MSN
account from the desktop.  I receive errors EC 80048820 and EEC 80048412.
Repair does not work.  Problem identified as Default Gaterway!!  I can access
my MSN account from the MSN web page.  (I have access to web and e-mail).  I
have PC guard installed and associated Firewall enabled. 'Active Connections'
option shows a 'transmits' activity for Messenger.  'Internet Acces Rules' is
set to 'allow' for Messenger.  OS is XP Profesional.Thats my depth of
understanding, please help.

Try the Windows Live Messenger support group :]

This group is for users running Apple OS X (Mac)

I can't seem to sign in to MSN mac even though my mac's a 10.4.10 and
msn is ver 6.02. They always reject with the following message:

"Sign in failed because the password is incorrect or the username does
not exist. if you've forgotten your password, choose Help topics from
the Help menu."

But however, I can sign in using Adium and ebuddy, and even log-in
through hotmail. Anyone encounter this problem before?
