Simply put, one of the worst IM's for any OS around period. For shame
Microsoft, with all your resources at your disposal you cant even make
a stable program that actually keeps you online for more then 2
minutes. Lets not forget the lacking features that make this program
an text based communicator that rivals the late 90's ICQ with a
prettier interface. Get some video/audio support and the list of other
features that are missing from its Window$ counterpart, and do it soon.

My personal point of view: forget it. It's not gonna happen. The only
way I could see is making a petition to show M$ how much and how much
angry we are...

There have been multiple petitions in the past with thousands of signatures
asking Microsoft to add video and voice support.

I am sure Microsoft, even Bill Gates and Steve Balmer know how utterly
despised Microsoft software is by a majority of Mac users.

Each time Microsoft issue a new version of Messenger for Mac, they come up
with a new excuse as to why they could not do Video and Voice, and 'promise'
it will be added in the next version.

This has been going on for literally years.

See these petitions and I am sure there used to be others as well.

It is no wonder Mac users feel Microsoft suck when they treat us so badly.
In fact I have come up with this scale of suckability to accommodate the
staggering level of suckiness of Microsoft software for Mac.

Obviously, the further right on this scale the greater the level of
suckiness.

Bill Clinton    Industrial Vacuum   Inter-Stellar    Black     Microsoft
Not Inhaling           Pump             Space        Hole      software!

[Hmmm, perhaps the missing (Dark) matter physicists are looking for is
actually the force exerted by the suckiness of Microsoft software!]

Unfortunately, these petitions do not work, not because Microsoft are
ignoring them, but more likely because Microsoft feel no shame over the
ghastly quality of their Mac software.

I would not want to work for Microsoft, not because they are the 'dark
side', not because I might have to use Windows (I have a Windows Media
Center at home), not because they may or may not any longer be the most
attractive employer, but rather because I would be ashamed to be associated
with such awful products.

[Please no physicists pointing out any flaws in the above scale, it is
supposed to be a joke.]

Better use Yahoo its stable and support messaging to MSN. Microsoft
MAC business unit  is sleeping. They care less about the customers.

It does at least run on the Mac. My daughter's PC won't run Live
Messenger at all, despite many attempts to clear and reinstall it, it
just will not work.
