Can someone please tell me if it is possible to link windows messenger and
hotmail? So when I receive an email to my hotmail account I get an alert when
I am signed into windows messenger. And if possible how do I do this?

Yahoo IM has this feature with yahoo email accounts.

Thank you in advance...

If you figured it out, how do you UN-do it?

Hi.

Is it possible to turn off hotmail notifications server side?  I am not
actually using Messenger but rather a bridge to MSN called OpenFire so
iChat can connect to MSN via Jabber.  I don't fully understand how that
all works but I am good at following directions. See:

Anyway, the problem is iChat constantly pops up new mail messages from
the MSN server which is annoying and I'd like to turn that off.  I
couldn't figure out how to do that on the MSN web pages, and links to
Messenger tend just to link to the Mactopia pages.

Thanks.

ANYONE?  How do you turn off hotmail notifications -- ignore the other
