i signed up for a new windows live id yesterday (not this email that
im signed on now) and when i tried to log onto msn messenger it told
me that i had to verify by following directions on an email that will
be sent to me. i never recieved that email. i've read other posts of
people with the same problem and theres always a link given where i
can request another verification email to be sent but that link takes
me directly to the home page. another solution i've read about was to
re-install messenger on my computer and also removing some files in
the library, but im having the same problem with Adium. however, with
adium, i CAN log on, but my alias is "myemail@whatever.com (unverified
email)" and i can't change that.

is there a third solution that could finally help me?

thanks! :)

Hi,

Have you checked your junk mail/spam filter. It is possible it may have
landed in your junk mail.

Unfortunately I can't resend any mail as I am in the product group and the
mails are from a different group entirely outside of the Messenger Teams.
This is related to Windows Live ID.

I would suggest you entering a Product Support ticket via this link:

Thanks,
Rebecca
